$1 1999 Federal Reserve NotePrinted Double Fold Over Note! For Sale: the 1999 $1 Double Fold-over error (Fr. 1924-A), shown in the photos, and which is the actual note you will receive if you purchase the note. This is a very dramatic error as can be seen from the photos. There are actually two different horizontal fold-overs (one on top of the other) which have been printed over with the district and serial number. For some reason, PCGS graded this one AU-58 but I know for a fact that the bank teller who sold this to me got it directly from the Bank and it was never put into circulation at any time. She carefully kept it in an envelope and all of the corners look good to me! Go figure!
