For this auction, you are bidding on a "CHRISTENING PRAYER FOR A SPECIAL BOY" PLAQUE BY ABBEY PRESS NEW IN ORIGINAL BOX which measures approximately 7 1/2"H x 5 1/2"W x 1/2"Thick. This lovely plaque has a wonderful prayer for a little boy as he is be christened into the church and reads: "Lord, surround this child with goodness, lead him in Your light each day; Help him walk the path You've chosen, guide his steps along the way_ Teach him, Lord, to trust Your wisdom with a faith from up above; Keep him from all harm, and bless him always with Your grace and love", written by B.J. Hoff. It has a whimsical print of a lamb and a rabbit running on a path with Bluebirds hovering overhead. There is a tree with a knot hole with a squirrel right below it. It is blue "toned" and would make a terrific addition to a little boy's room. It can be hung on a wall or it has a "stand" to place it on a shelf. This plaque is in MINT condition and comes with the original box and cardboard insert and also has a folded cardboard card regarding Abbey Press.
