Vintage Rectangular Salt Cellar This unique little salt cellar was a popular table item for holding and dispensing salt. The unusual oval design allows for easier 'pinching' of the salt crystals. Possibly mid 1800's. 2" x 1 1/2" x 1" History: Originally salt cellars sold in several different sizes either for individual use or a group of people.
