Vintage Armstrong Sterling Silver Plateau Model 90, ser# 90K3346 (early 70s). Armstrong is one of the oldest and most respected flute makers in the US. The model 90 offers a closed hole ( plateau ) style instrument with a solid silver head and body for better response and quality of tone. Ours is used but nice with modest wear (surface scratches and little dings ). The key work plays well with nice response across its range and has No worn through keys. The pads are clean, soft and seal well. If you demand the quality of solid silver, and have limited funds, this is a perfect instrument for you. Play it as it sits or have your local tech overhaul it for you. Includes a hard case in fair condition (solid and protects / minor damage) to keep it warm and happy :-).
