This auction is for an absolutely beautiful pair of vintage STERLING SILVER (.925) candelabras made by Maciel, out of Mexico. These candelabras perfectly embody a sense of simplicity and elegance, and are in amazing vintage condition...there are not dents, dings, etc. These candelabra are NOT WEIGHTED, but are made of solid .925 sterling silver, as attested to by the stamp on the bottom of each (see photos). They stand approximately 9 1/2" tall and just under 11" wide. The weight of the candelabras are 32.9 ounces and 33.7 ounces, respectively, for a combined weight of approximately 66.9 ounces of sterling. These candelabra are, quite simply, beautifully designed and in beautiful condition. No consideration should be given to the "melt value" of the sterling silver, as it would be a travesty to destroy the beauty and craftsmanship of the vintage silver items.
