B. T. BABBITT'S BEST SOAP COMPANY ROSE LITHOGRAPH IN FRAMEThis lithograph is from around the 1890's. I have had this print for many years & just loved it when I found it. It came in the glass & frame which I believe are from the same period. The litho measures 8.5 by 21 inches long. The frame from tips of criss cross design on corners measure 12.5 by 25 inches long. I decided to look for any markings on the back of print before I listed & found the printing for an ad for B. T. BABBITT'S BEST SOAP (see photo for whole ad). When I looked up this online found out there are many prints & trading cards being sold online but have not seen flowers. I believe probably some lady loved the print when she bought the soap & had to put it in a frame for her home. See photos of the glass in frame- there are large air bubble through out which also dates the item. FLAWS- litho has 3 mall rips (hard to see when in frame) & one top corner of frame has been repaired (see photos). Still a great item for age!!! Thank you for looking!!!
