Here is a successful experiment. Same body as my Mandocello, six strings, regular guitar fingerboard. Looks like Rosewood of some sort. It is salvaged from some dead electric. Back and Sides are Mahogany or Sapele, top is 100 year old Chestnut. Neck is Walnut Sounds Pretty good, larger body than most travel guitars, but pretty compact Tru-oil finish. Ready to play.
