Sterling Silver Arts & Crafts Matchbox Holder - $55 - (Billings, MT)

For sale is a wonderful Arts & Crafts style sterling silver matchbox holder with a very ornate 'S' on the front. The surface has a hammered look and the decorative silver is applied and it would be if it were made of mixed metals. It is marked sterling and marked for Joseph Mayer & Bros. of Seattle Washington. It is in very good condition. The size is 1 3/4 inches long, 1 1/8 wide, and 5/8 deep. It weighs .8 oz on a US electronic postal scale.
