This is Yanagisawa's top of the line professional saxophone, and it's truly a wonder to see and play in person. The saxophone is elaborately engraved on the body and keys from the neck to the bell. This was a one-owner horn and it was meticulously cared for. The pads are in excellent shape and there are few signs of use. My tech performed a full setup on the horn, so it's playing perfectly from top to bottom. The sax comes in a brand new top of the line Bam Cabine case, which fits the horn perfectly.This is an incredible playing horn. The silver adds a ton of depth and solidity to the sound, yet it still feels nimble and punchy. The projection is tremendous, and reminds me a lot of a Mark VI the way it plays and responds, but with better keywork and intonation.
