Georgian Irish Large Goblet Sterling Silver Gustavus Byrne 1808 Antique Irish sterling silver large goblet dating to the Georgian period with chased repousse floral scroll decorations on the cup with floral leaf decorations on the base. There is an empty shield and an empty cartouche on the cup. Made by the Irish silversmith Gustavus Byrne in 1808. Features retailer marks for William Law. This stunning goblet measures 4 3/8" long, 4 3/16" wide, 6 7/8" tall, and weighs 10.9 ozt. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
