1950's Mastro / Maccaferri plastic banjo-ukulele CLOCK! Midcentury kitsch - $39 - (Portsmouth, OH)

Awesome kitschy midcentury Mastro / Maccaferri plastic banjo-ukulele converted into a clock! Banjo uke is 1950's, clock conversion was probably in the 1980's. Didn't work when I got it, but I replaced the clock mechanism. Now it keeps perfect time, even if you can't! The story I got when I acquired this was that it had hung in a boutique guitar shop in Chicago that has since closed down. The guy I got it from had it in his man cave for years after that. There are some condition issues, visible in the pictures. The face is cracked in two places, running from 3 o'clock to 6 o'clock and from 8 o'clock to 9 o'clock. Also, the rim is cracked at 1 o'clock and 10 o'clock. All of the cracks are stable though. It is what it is. What it is is pure awesome. You need this!
