VNice Franz Sandner German 15 1/2” Concert Viola. Model Franz Sandner 3102FH (2000) serial # 095834 (viola was 2595.00 in 2000). The Sandner shop in Germany produces a wide range of instruments from student through master level. The 3102 is a step up student instrument, and suitable for first solo work. Ours is in very good solid condition, but shows play wear throughout (scratches nicks etc). Never abused or repaired, as the pictures attest, this is still a very attractive instrument. I just had George Anderson of Independent Music do a set-up (adjusted bridge, installed a new set of D’Adario Helicore professional strings, and play adjusted.
