Estate 19th Century Large Red Sevres Porcelain And Gilt Bronze Centerpiece - $765 - (Jefferson City, MO)

A beautiful rare 19th century fine French gilt bronze and red Chateau des Tuileries Sevres porcelain centerpiece. The bronze foliate double handled and footed centerpiece features a signed hand painted Sevres porcelain bowl. The scene depicts a young man and young woman with a dog. It is stamped on reverse with the Sevres makers mark and the Chateau des Tuileries mark. Additionally, there is the initials of the artist, It is a rare masterpiece! The porcelain bowl measures approximately 10.5 inches square, the frame is 11.25 inches square and the frame is 4 inches tall. There is no damage to the centerpiece however, the bowl is a little loose in the frame and much of the gilding is gone over the years.
