BRASS CONDUCTOR LANTERN #3-1/2 WITH GREEN OVER CLEAR ETCHED GLOBE - $2,500 - (Aurora, CO)

This mfg went out of business in 1914 so this lantern is at least 105 years old. The #3-1/2 were produced from 1887-1914. These were finished in highly polished brass, nickel,silver and gold-plated brass.At the time of production engraving on the globe cost: Name; $1.00 Name with wreath ; $1.50 how times have changed! This is a very fine example and has been in my collection for decades and displays as museum quality. I will be posting in coming months a excellent silver plated model.
