It takes 4 C batteries (not included). It does not come with the remote. It has lights, music and motion to soothe your baby to sleep. It will automatically cut off after 25 minutes. It has a drift off setting that will lower the volume and lights every 10 minutes to help your little one fall asleep. It tells you when the batteries are getting low, has 2 different volume settings and 4 soothing modes. If your baby wakes in the middle of the night they can push the star to start the toy up.
