Vintage Remington Hot House Food Steamer Tested Working Complete Original Box - $35 - (Cairo, WV)

Tested and working, this is a Remington model BS-1 Hot House Food Steamer. Place measured water into the appliance, place you food on the tray and cook eggs, warm bread, steam vegetables, etc, etc. The unit does show some ordinary wear and age. There is some bubbling of the woodgrain vinyl adhered to the sides of the base. The power light is not working, though the appliance does power on and work. This set includes the heater base, a perforated tray, and egg tray, a brown translucent lid, a power cord, and a care and use booklet that includes the warranty registration card (6¢ postage required for mailing!) as well as it's original box. Made in the 70s for use in the 70s says the booklet. Could they have known then that it would still be around in the 21st Century World Of The Future?!?!?
