Lecturer Barbara Semple teels the sotry of a woman's life as a sea captain's wife aboard a sailing vessel in the late 1800's. Lear about what vessels she and Captian Stanley Amesbury sailed on, what those vessels were like as well as what life was like on board. Barbara Semple is a lead educator, volunteer and popular docent at the Atwood House & Museum in Chatham. She has agreed to bring her fascinating lecture to the Cape Cod Maritime Museum!
