ANTIQUE DICTIONARY/BIBLE STAND CAST IRON AND OAK - $235 - (Hutchinson, KS)
Very nice antique adjustable, folding book or bible stand. Made of cast iron with golden oak panels . The folding cast iron legs have casters for rolling the stand around and have a metal shaft in the center for height adjustment from 24" to 36". The two 8 1/2" x 13" oak panels have a ledge on the bottoms to rest the book on and have cast iron adjustable clamps on the backs. These clamps allow the panels to move in or out and to change angles to accommodate various sized books. This stand has been well cared for over the years and the condition of all parts is very good with only slight signs of use. This will be taken apart for shipping as shown in the 7th photo, allowing for it to be carefully wrapped and packed. It's easy to reassemble and I will include simple instructions in the package.
