Occupied Japan Deer Fawn Salt & Pepper Shakers Ceramic Figures Marked on Bottom - $8 - (Hiawatha, KS)
Cute little salt and pepper set in the shape of fawns who still have their spots. Made in Occupied Japan as noted on the bottom of them. Approximately 2 1/4" tall, 2 3/4" long, and 1 1/2" wide with holes in the bottom to fill and 3 holes in each in the back of the heads to sprinkle from. Both are in excellent condition, especially considering their age--no chips or cracks, use very minimal signs of use. The corks to close the bottom are missing but they would be easy to replace. The lettering on the bottom of one is pretty worn but still readable; the lettering on the other is clear. Please examine all of the pictures closely and ask any questions before bidding. I will send them as soon as possible after payment clears, usually no later than the following day. Payment is due when purchased. The sooner you pay, the sooner I ship! Kansas residents will need to pay Kansas sales tax. The vast majority of what I offer are obtained at estate auctions so they are not new and I describe them as best I can.
