Vintage Elf/Pixie with Accordian Occupied Japan Note Flaw - $11 - (Auburn, IA)
Vintage Seated Elf or Pixie with Accordian. This figurine has a scalloped decorative collar and is made in Occupied Japan. There is a fair sized chip on an inside petal of the hat. Some of the figure shows white under the paint so this chip actually is not that obvious and looks like part of the figures white area. There is definitely a chip in that area and it is sold as such. I am having trouble deciding if there is some collar missing on the back of figure. I think there are a couple points missing on the back but the collar is busy so it is hard to see. Cool Elf Figurine and more decorative than most. The figurine is 3 1/8 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide at knees. Front to back 3 inches long. Clearly stamped on base Made in Occupied Japan.
