Vintage Fireplace Fire Starter- Similar to Cape Cod Starter - $20 - (Milo, ME)

Vintage fireplace fire starter. 14 1/2" long x 4" wide with about a 2" ring at end of handle. The wound wire at the end (last 2 photos) is not empty but solid, filled with an absorbent compound for the kerosene in which it is dipped and then laid in the fireplace as an accelerant. All good.
