Antique metal floor grate. HARD TO FIND LARGE SIZE. The top is 18 1/4" x 22 1/4". It will fit an opening of 16" x 20". It is 3" deep not including the face. So, 3" will be placed in the cut out once installed. Very strong and heavy. Much stronger than today's thin metal grates. Most likely made around the early 1900's. Surface rust and some original paint. No rust through holes. Keep as is or simply clean with a wire brush then paint the desired color.
