Close your eyes, boomers and Xers, and remember the early days of this grainy, sweet and decadent-tasting morning snack. We all had to fight mom for the chocolate one. It hit the market in 1964 and is still made under the new name Essentials today. Now more drawn to bacon than shakes, we've not had it in years, but we're guessing its modern incarnation (pun intended) is smoother than the chalky original. We rescued the ad from a 1965 news and culture magazine and trimmed away the darker aging at the edges (it's still lightly browned at the edges, but nothing that detracts, in our opinion) - all set for you to mount, frame, use in your crafting or throw in an acrylic frame or magnet back and decorate your fridge, breakfast nook or wherever you take your shake. ;) 13" X 10" We ship between cardboard and in poly mailers.
