Large 19th C.Antique Ironstone Wash Pitcher Moss Rose Transfer England or France - $39 - (Suffield, CT)

This lovely Ironstone Wash Pitcher, circa late 19th Century, is the Moss Rose pattern which was extremely popular during the Victorian era and produced by many companies of that period. The transfer design is sharp and the shades of pink, gray and medium brown are vivid with gold rim and decoration on the handle. The pitcher measures 12-1/2" in height and 9" from spout-to-handle. There are no cracks, chips or repairs; some very minor gold wear. Crazing and glaze pops commensurate with age. Unmarked, likely English or French Manufacture.
