VINTAGE ICE FISHING "SURPRISE" TIP UP 1962 - $95 - (Portage, WI)

Very unusual, unique ice fishing tip up. Made by W A Krueger Hustisford Wisconsin. The reel shaft is spring loaded, when fish takes bait and runs with it, the reel unwinds line, when the fish stops, the reel reverses and winds up the slack line, so, the flag is not stationary, but spins when the reel is being unwound or rewound.
