This is a very rare Super 8 sound film transfer machine built by Tobin Cinema Systems on an Elmo ST180E projector. It will export composite video and sound direct to your video capture device. The control unit on top will allow you to toggle between 18fps and 24fps films, as well as adjust exposure. The unit is in good working and cosmetic condition and has very low hours usage on it, only in a professional film transfer environment. No pets or smoke, etc. Please be aware that a lot of Super8 film reels have degraded heavily over time and have shrunk or warped. Because this projector uses a 'claw' mechanism, if you have damaged or distorted film, you may have issues with your film transfer, as the claw relies on steady and even spacing with the sprockets. If you have film in good condition, you will have no problems with this machine. This is one of the *only* machines available out there that will convert sound reels. Urbanski Film currently provides servicing on Tobin units, so if you need any adjustments or maintenance in the future, the unit can be serviced.
