We are pleased to offer this lovely, antique French Quimper faience - first period Porquier-Beau - multi-lobed plate decorated in a Rouen design with a center basket of flowers and eight lobed border intricately and delicately painted with floral design. Pierced for hanging. Measures 8-1/4" in diameter x 1-3/4" high. In EXCELLENT condition - no chips, cracks or repairs. The glaze on the back side is a little lumpy around the edges, with some of the pink clay visible under the light blue glaze and some very light crazing. An absolutely beautiful plate!
