Enco (Exxon) Giveaway Item – Shoe-Away Travel Bags (circa 1960) This “gift” of the month was given to motorists buying gas at Enco (now Exxon) stations, circa 1960. The shoe-away travel bags were for use in luggage to protect other clothing from dirty shoes. The packet, with cardboard insert, contained two bags with the “Happy Motoring” logo, and was originally distributed from an Enco station in Garland, Texas. It is intact and unopened, in its original sealed packaging. Shipping includes U.S. Postal Service tracking service.
