Turquoise and Coral Silvertone Handmade Buckle - $45 - (Palestine, TX)

This is a handmade buckle with southwestern style motifs. It is NOT marked as sterling and there are NO makers' marks anywhere on it. It has hammered edges in an attractive pattern, with curlicues around the turquoise nuggets. The turquoise nuggets each have decorative banded insets They measure about 1/2" diameter each. The coral is a round finished stone about 1/4" set in a banded inset, like the turquoise stones. The Native American Chief in feathered bonnet is definitely only a silver-colored metal. It is mounted to the right of the stones and curlicues. It is an attractive buckle with a functional, bendable part for inserting a belt. It has one prong to connect to belt holes. The overall dimensions of the buckle are about 2 1/2" by 3". Please note the "Condition" above.
