Up for bid in this auction is the movement, dial and all three hands for a 1952 model year (8,631,145 movement serial number) Longines Watch Co. Caliber 23L that is a Swiss Made manual winding 17 Jewels movement- this movement does wind and set the time smoothly and has a good balance staff and RUNS! I have made no effort to run a timekeeping test on this movement and neither should you- it has spent a long time in a watchmaker’s parts drawer without the benefit of a watch case to keep everything nice and clean. The dial and very thin baton hands all show wear- I’m not sure if you could clean up the hands and use them or not. The minute hand would need to be straightened out. What you see is what you get- NO RESERVE!!!Payment is due immediately upon purchase.
