Singer Sewing Machine - 15-91 with Potted Motor & Accessories, Serviced This listing is for a Singer 15-91 Sewing Machine, as shown in the photos. This machine is in great condition with great decals and paint, especially for a machine made in 1954. It is very clean, and we thoroughly oiled and lubricated it, and replaced the motor and light wiring, so it is ready to start sewing! The serial number is AL858660. The 15-91 has a potted motor (very powerful with no belt), straight stitch machine with metal gears, so is considered to be "heavy duty", but it is not a commercial machine. It is very fast ... over 1,000 stitches per minute. The feed dog can be lowered for darning or free motion quilting. It will sew about anything that will fit under the presser foot, and the sample in photo 4 is seven layers of heavy denim. The machine has the standard presser foot installed, and the attachment box includes 7 more feet, and 6 original Singer metal bobbins. The foot pedal has new wiring.
