1986 Ivory Brocade Wedding Gown With Train Vintage VERSATILE - $200 - (Au Sable Forks, NY)
Preowned. Ivory brocade. Short poof sleeves. Ruffled neckline. VERSATILE : Can be worn on or off the shoulders. It can be worn with or without a hoop. The last two pictures are with a hoop. Hoop not included. Bodice and skirt are lined. Train is a nice length, manageable. Ruffled neckline. Scoops in the back. No stains on the dress itself, but may have subtle shading variations. The picture looks like there is a stain on/in the rose, but there isn't. I believe it is the shading variation i mentioned. There are 3 small/tiny round stains on the underslip near the hem on the back of the gown. No tears or rips on the gown, but there is a small, repaired " L" shaped tear on the slip/lining. Not visible and does not affect the gown. The hem is a bit dust. Should be cleaned. The encased elastic on the sleeves and the shoulders have lost most of their elasticity. Worn in 1986. No tags. I believe it is a size 12, see measurements. Bust measures 35/36 inches (17.5" X 2, lying flat). Side seam to side seam, directly under arm. Waist measures 28 inches (14x2 lying flat) . 51.5 inches long, measured on side seam: FROM UNDERARM to HEM. Sleeve measures 6 inches inside the sleeve. The outside causing the "poof" is longer.
