The Florida Museum of Natural History is hosting a demonstration day by the “VR for the Social Good” class to promote the research and development of virtual and augmented reality applications on May 1 from 10 a.m. to noon. The class will share more than fifteen demonstrations of social good projects and immersive stories focused on Type one and Type two diabetes. The course aims to provide students with tools and resources to pursue a future with this technology. Previous projects have allowed visitors to see through the eyes of a baby sea turtle and tour the University of Florida campus.
