This is a beautiful netsuke hand carved boxwood shishi Lion dog. The netsuke is approx. 2.75 inches long.... 1.25 inch wide... and approx. 1.5 inch tall. It's carved completely on every side and bottom with great detail. The bottom has a signature, Kawa something, can't read the other character. Some of the detail is beautifully smoothed out from use over the years. The two eyes are each black glass with incredible detail in the teeth and all aspects.
