Early Antique blown green glass vase with open pontil wheel cut designs C. 1830 - $195 - (North Montpelier, VT)

Early vase or goblet with wheel cut designs of a ship with sailors in it. This has an open pontil scar on the base and is hand blown. The color is a light green. The base is quite heavy glass with the top tapering out to be quite a bit thinner. The vase is near mint , no chips cracks or any damage. There is quite a bit of base wear from use indicating the age. I estimate the date of manufacture at 1830-1840. Ther is a bit of residue on the inside of the base which is most likely able to be cleaned. The vase measures 7" tall by 4 wide at the mouth. It weighs just over 1 pound or 469 grams.
