FRATERNAL ORDER OF EAGLES VINTAGE LADIES AUXILIARIES RITUALS 1947. For your consideration, a vintage book of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. This book is titled: “The Ritual of the Ladies Auxiliaries to the Local Aeries of the Fraternal Order of Eagles,” issued by Authority of the Grand Aeries, Fraternal Order of Eagles. This small hard cover book (5 ½ x 8 inches, 118 pages) also includes a thin softcover booklet with guidance about a “Final Tribute to Deceased Members of the Ladies Auxiliaries,” inserted into a pocket of the rear endpaper. This book was published by the Grand Aeries, F.O.E., of Columbus, Ohio, dated 1947. The book is bound in green cloth boards with gilt titles and decorations on the cover. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The covers are a bit dust-dulled but clean and unbumped. The gilt titles and decorations are a bit tarnished but still fully legible and attractive. The only marks inside are those of two rusty paper clips that were once inserted into the book to mark passages. The endpapers and the first few and last few pages have some very minor and incipient foxing (please see the photos). The Memorial Service booklet is clean and bright inside. Both hinges are fully intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
