1802 S-230 PCGS UNC Details Draped Bust Large Cent Coin 1c - $2,950 - (Austin, TX)

PCGS authenticated and graded UNC Details. Lightly cleaned and retoned frosty light to medium steel brown and chocolate with traces of very faded red in protected areas on the reverse. Looks like a lustrous mint state to the unaided eye. There are several faint hairlines in the field behind the portrait, a thin nearly vertical nick on the throat, and two sharp nicks at IC in AMERICA. M-LDS, Breen state IX early, with numerous die cracks on the reverse and obvious die rust on the bust into the field above. Tied for CC#8 in the Noyes census.
