Nancy Ann # 182 Wednesday’s Child Doll I am selling this vintage doll. Please view my other auctions by visiting my eBay store for more toys, dolls and other interesting items. I would be happy to combine where it is safe and will refund any savings I have from combining shipping. This vintage Nancy Ann was produced between 1943 and 1947. She is Wednesday’s Child, part of the Day Series. The doll is all painted bisque and is jointed at the shoulders. Her hair is blonde mohair. She measures 5.5 ins. tall. Her back is marked Story Book Doll U.S.A. The side of her white box with blue polka dots has a silver label that reads “Wednesday’s Child Is Full Of Woe” 182. She wears her gold foil bracelet (which is attached to her wrist with tape) that reads “182 Wednesday’s Child, Storybook Dolls By Nancy Ann". The doll is dressed in a long taffeta dress. The top in light blue and bottom is light pink with flowers. She has her blue hanky attached with a pink ribbon, the same type of pink ribbon as is in her hair. She has a slip, pantaloons and painted slippers The box is slightly soiled and has age spots. The Storybook pamphlet is still in the box. Her stand is included.
