Ansonia Tin Can Swinger Arm - $1,200 - (Blanchester, OH)
We are offering this Ansonia Tin Can Swinger Arm. The movement has been clean and has been running for the past week. The arm measures about 20 inches high and the inside dial is about 3 1/4 inches, and the can itself is 4 inches. I bought this thinking it was a old repro, but once I took it a part I found the Ansonia stamp on the front of the movement. I spoke with another Ebayer and found out that about 10 to 15% of these movements were stamped on the front plate and not the back. As you can tell by the pictures that dial is stained, but it's correct. It does have a hole made at the top, I think someone made it to adjust the verge.
