Antique 1936 J J Sanders Bullet Shape Sewing Kit Spools Thimble Needle Bible 3334 DESCRIPTION: Antique aluminum bullet shape compact sewing kit, complete. The external case is aluminum with a Bible verse – 1 John 5:11, with a green background. The lid is a thimble which pulls off. Inside is a wooden case with a lid – the case is actually two spools on the outside, and a needle holder on the inside. The bottom of the aluminum case is marked with Patent 2084780, which dates to 1936, patented to J. J. Sanders. MEASUREMENTS: About 2 1/8 inches long, 5/8 inches in diameter. CONDITION: Very good condition. No dings or dents. Wooden case inside still contains thread. Some wear to the decorative band at the bottom of the thimble. As pictured.
