~ For Your Consideration ~ Vintage 1940s Jacquard Drapery Upholstery Fabric This is an awesome vintage Jacquard fabric from the 1940's. Beige and copper, the design is reversible. The first 5 photos feature the shiny leaf side. Photos 6 and 7 have the background as the shiny copper featured side. The last photo shows the contrast between the 2 sides. Exact fabric composition is unknown and burn test not done. Selvage: Unbranded Measurements: Length: 2 yards 8 inches, Width: about 48 inches Condition: Vintage fabric just out of my personal storage, I noted some marks on the side with a shiny background, see photo 6. No holes or tears noted. The fabric has no stitching holes. Perhaps once used as a cover or throw. Faint soil on side with the shiny background. Notes: I do recommend your own laundering or dry cleaning method on vintage or pre-owned items. Ours is a smoke-free and pet-free home that does not use harsh chemicals or sprays, but vintage items have been exposed to unknown factors.
