This is the 1964 reprint of the original 1904 pamphlet detailing the story of the failed Union attempt to steal "The General" steam locomotive from Kennesaw (Big Shanty) Georgia in 1862. This was the basis for the famous movie "The Great Locomotive Chase" in 1926 and again in 1956. Very nice condition for its age. Stain on rear cover as shown. 55 pages.
