Antique Victorian Gold Wood & Floral Gesso Oval Picture Frame w/Convex Glass - $60 - (Hortonville, WI)

This is an original antique (early 1900's) wooden picture frame with floral gesso accents on all four sides and original wavy convex glass. It is in very good condition considering age, the gesso accents are complete with no chips, but the frame has been re-painted gold at some point. The paint has an aged appearance with a few darker spots and looks a little dull overall. There are a few flakes in the paint and cracks in the gesso and finish, but nothing is loose. There is a newer cardboard back panel behind the glass and a hanging wire is attached to hang the frame vertically. Outer dimensions of the frame are 24 5/8" x 18 5/8" and the opening in the back measures 19 3/4" x 13 3/4". It will be packed securely, double boxed, and fully insured during shipping.
