PLEASE NOTE: The first 4 photos show "work in progress" in our repair shop. Repair work is now completed and the rest of the photos show the results of our restoration, the tuba now ready to play. It's a good all-around concert tuba with .728” bore and 17.5 “ bell. Dents and dings have been removed by our shop, but no serious damage ever to this good 4-valve BBb tuba. The valves show minor wear, but are still tight in the casings with good compression. Original lacquer finish is worn about 20% with worn areas over-sprayed with new lacquer in our shop to protect the brass and preserve the appearance. With mouthpiece, but no case. We have two nearly identical used YBB-321 tubas, now with dents removed, everything solid and ready for many more years of service. Suggested retail price for a new one (with case) is now $9,850; with “street price” for a new one over $6,800, but why buy a new one?
