Spanish American War Battleship Maine Bronze Plaque - Charles Keck 1913, 11.5 LB - $1,699 - (Grove, OK)
This bronze plaque is in excellent condition, It has never been polished , it has its original patina. No scratches, cracks, etc. It is 17.5" by 12.75". The exact weight is 11 LB 13 OZ. The front says - "In Memoriam USS Maine Destroyed in Havana Harbor, February 15th, 1898. - This Tablet is Cast from Metal Recovered From the USS Maine". On the lower right corner it says - "C Keck 1913, Cast by Jno Williams Inc, NY". On the back in the upper left hand corner it says "Tablet No 1019, Charles Keck, Sculptor, Cast by Jno Williams Inc, Bronze Foundry, New York, 1913". I have a nylon string attached to the back so you can easily hang this on the wall. Due to its weight and the fact that I want to insure it, Postage will be $50. If I can mail to you for less, I will refund that amount back to you (unless it is less than $4) I will only ship to US addresses. If you have a US address outside of the continental US (like Hawaii or Alaska) postage will be a bit more.
