Rare Antique Petrus Regout & Co. TIMOR Multicolor Chinoiserie 6" Porcelain Serving Bowl Maastricht Holland GUC This listing is for a rare antique chinoiserie transfer print bowl. Manufactured in Maastricht Holland circa 1883 by the Petrus Regout & Co. porcelain factory, this Chinoiserie style serving bowl has been transfer painted in the TIMOR pattern which includes a Chinese peasant man, exotic birds and flowers, mountains, a river, and a pagoda. It bears the Sphinx logo mark of the Petrus Regout & Co. from the period between 1875-1899. The bowl is 6" in diameter and 3 1/4" high, while the base measures 3" in diameter. It is in good antique condition: it has a couple of possible hairline (cracks), one small chip, some minor wear, and age related patina to the porcelain. Please Note: I acquire my items from a variety of sources. I try to clean and sanitize everything, but I cannot guarantee that the items have not been in homes/locations where cigarette and/or pet odors/hair have accumulated. I try to check my items for any unusual smells, but I may not be as sensitive to these odors as you might be.
