A RARE Bilston Enamel Snuff Box "Cockfight" Late 1700's Early 1800's - $125 - (Springfield, MO)

This is an antique enamel snuff box depicting a colorful hand painted illustration on the lid of two roosters about to fight. The base is a light blueish gray color. The interior is white.  Since the box is old it has some defects. (Please see photos). There are some worn areas on the edges and bottom and a diagonal hairline crack across the front of the base. The lid does not snap shut- but it rests without a gap on the base. The box does not have markings or a stamp, but I think that was made in Bilston England in the late 1700s or early 1800s.
