BUY IT NOW! I’m offering a vintage French MATCH STRIKER made by WM GUERIN & CO - LIMOGES FRANCE. Heavy, solid, grey stoneware base with horizontal ribbing for matches to strik. Center well to store unused matchsticks. Conical shape. Glazed in cobalt blue with a dotted decor and solid bands. Measures approximately 2 1/2” height, 2” top round opening, 4” round base. GOOD, preowned, used condition. I note a chip on the underside rim of the base (photo). Small nips to the ribbing. A hairline across base. Otherwise, no chips, cracks, breaks, hairlines or restorations noted. Still functional, great for display! Glazed other than the strike zone. Hallmarked appropriately on underside of base (photo).
