1860s red and green appliqué quilt. A lovely early quilt with red and green fabric, quilted feathers and wreaths. It measures a generous 84.5" x 96". Hand quilted at 10–12 inches per inch. The binding is hand sewn and batting is thin. The appliqué is hand sewn. Fabric and batting are cotton. Circa 1860s. A wonderful framing with vining buds. The quilting is lush.
