A ONE -OF-A-KIND work of Art...A Beautiful Antique quilt featuring 256 Italian tobacco cards.. ( there are duplicate cards)) Measures approx. 54" X 56" entire border has tassels ,all intact Cards measure 1 1/2" X 2" and are not silk, but a thin yet strong cardboard type with each one meticulously hand sew in Only one card has cracked but is still strongly attached with thread This was made by a relative who came here from Italy sometime in the late 1800`s to early 1900`s & brought it with her. there is some wear & fading, etc. consistent with age as seen in photos.
